Fee Waiver Continues for Licence Renewals

Once again, the RCMP has decided to waive the fees for anyone who wishes to renew their firearms license. The waiver applies to both PAL and POL licenses. This waiver has been in effect since 2006 and we are very pleased to know that this waiver is still in effect.
This waiver applies to anyone in the following situations:
- A person who is renewing their license after it has expired
- Anyone who is upgrading their POL license to a PAL
- Individuals who are upgrading their privileges such as adding the ability to acquire restricted firearms.
- Minors who are renewing their Minor's Possession License.
Please note that the waiver only applies to those that have a license and wish to renew it. It does not apply to anyone who is getting their license for the first time, nor does it apply to minors who wish to upgrade their Minors License to a PAL.
